Earlier this week our Ranchers starting creating fun things from the felt they made the week before. I was struck at the wonderful color patterns!! This felt was made out a combination of Alpaca fiber and Mohair from our goats.
I asked Gammi to show me the purse she made and she proudly presented it and said "I did THIS!!" What a great learning experience!!

They are amazing people and so happy to be busy and productive. It's funny that a couple of Ranchers were talking about going to an agency to help them get a job and didn't once think of what they were doing in the workshop as either work or a job. Score!!
I love that kind of "work" (the kind that you don't even realize you are doing because you are having so much fun!!
They're doing what they love, so it seems like play to them. We should ALL be so lucky! (Actually, I am... :o) ) So the mitten factory is up and running?
WOW Ranchers, the projects look wonderful. Clay, I checked out the photo gallery and your bag is beautiful..... can hardly wait to see it in person.
